Catholics can purchase an app for their iPhone, iPad, iWhatever that "guides" them through the act of confessing their sins. It allows the user to select from a predefined list of acts of contrition. But! You still have to go to a priest for absolution. Unless of course you have a lot of money in which case the priest will certainly come to you. Presumably non-Catholics could buy this app, too. Would it work the same for us? Would our souls be freshened or would we just be wasting our money?
The best part about this is they don't even see the contradiction.

Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival
"Blues for a Cause" supports children's charities in the Baltimore area. Every year they put on a great two day show right on the river in Annapolis. Highly recommended.

About the Name
One of my good friend/coworkers gave me that nickname after 20 years of sitting in meetings with folks who want to rant, rave, whine, complain, resist change and just generally speak first and think later. I'm not sure at this point what I will want to blog about and I can't imagine there are many of you out there who will want to read it. I guess we'll see where it goes.
